Police were called to a report of suspicious activity in the 1700 block of Market Street around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, according to police.
People in the area were fleeing as police arrived.
During the incident, one person in the group pointed a semi-automatic rifle at a Harrisburg police officer.
Officers took one person into custody, siezing the semi-automatic rifle and a pistol.
The other people in the group continue to be pursued by police
No injuries occurred to any of the officers, arrestee or the public.
